Right off the bat, Globe Twister was in perfect compliance with the objectives in the line Games That Tell Stories by Act In Games. We reworked it, polished it, then gave it to Eric Cousin, who is new to the board game world. He added just the right touch with his impressive and unique style. With Globe Twister, Act In Games offers a fun and competitive game of movement programming, mixed with our team's personal touch.

The pitch :
Returning from an incredible voyage, you have been invited to share your anecdotes while showing off your travel log. But when you open it: oh, the horror! All of your compositions have become scrambled. Will you be able to recompose them faithfully, based on your memories? Will you be able to recompose them perfectly and restore just the right atmosphere to portray your encounters and discoveries? With Globe Twister, you will visit the four corners of the world!

The game :
Globe Twister is a voyage: a competitive programming game where you all try to recompose your memories at the same time. The game principle is simple: every player places randomly the 9 pieces of a puzzle in a 3 by 3 square. After this phase, the players will try to solve the puzzle as quickly and as efficiently as possible. It’s all about optimization. The first player who finishes his puzzle is almost certain to win… unless someone else has been more efficient and smart in programming.
